Assam Police Recruitment 2023 for 2649 Vacancies: Check Posts, Qualifications, and Other Details

Assam Police Recruitment 2023: State-level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) is looking for qualified candidates for filling up 2649 vacancies for various posts including Forester Grade – I, Forest Guard, AFPF Constable, Driver Constable, Driver under Forest Department, Assam. Recruitment rallies will be organized for the selection of candidates for appointment against the given number of vacant posts in the Pay Scale Rs. 14000- 60500 (Pay Band II).

According to the Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Notification, the candidate must be between the age of 18 to 40 years as of 01-07-2022. Candidates who meet all of the eligibility requirements for the Assam Police recruitment 2023 will be able to submit their applications through the Assam Police’s official web portal. The date and venue of the Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test (PST & PET) and Written Test etc, will be intimated in due course of time by email, SMS, and various other means and through the SLPRB website.

The online application will be received with effect from 10-01-2023 and the last date for receiving applications will be 06-02-2023.

Name of Post and Vacancies for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Assam Police Recruitment, 2023, there are 2649 vacancies for the given posts:

1. Forester Grade – I – 264

2. Forest Guard – 1226

3. AFPF Constable – 981

4. Driver Constable – 36

5. Driver under Forest Department, Assam – 142

Age limit for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

(I) For the posts of Forester Grade I, Forest Guard & Driver: 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1983).

(II) For the posts of AFPF Constable & Driver Constable: 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).

Qualification for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Assam Police Recruitment 2023, the applicant must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

(1) Forester Grade – I

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.

(2) Forest Guard

Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

(3) AFPF Constable:

HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board

(4) Driver Constable and Driver under Forest Department, Assam

HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.

Pay Scale for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

For the Post of Forester Grade – I the candidate will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 6400

For the Position of Forest Guard/ AFPF Constable/ Driver Constable, the selected candidate will have to be paid Rs. 5600

For the Role of Driver under the Forest Department, Assam the appointed candidate will have to pay Rs. 5200.

Selection Process for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respect will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET).

As per the official notification of Assam Police Recruitment 2023, applications must be submitted online through the SLPRB website. No other forms of application will be entertained.
