NIFTEM Recruitment 2023: National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Professor on a contract basis in Deptt. of Food Business Management & Entrepreneurship Development and Food Engineering department. Selected candidates will be appointed for one semester which can be extendable as per requirement.
As per the NIFTEM Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 07 vacancies. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 57700. Candidates will be selected through a personal interview. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria have to send their duly filled application through email on or before the last date. As per the NIFTEM Recruitment 2023 notification, the qualification required for all the posts are mentioned below:
General Management-
Candidate must have a Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university in Business Management / Business Administration / in a relevant management-related discipline or 55% marks in two-year full-time PGDBM declared equivalent by AIU / accredited by the AICTE / UGC. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phill./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.
Finance/ International Business-
Candidate must have Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant management-related discipline with specialization of International Business / Finance and its fields. OR the candidate should have First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phill./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.
Agri-Business-
Candidate must have a Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent accredited foreign university in Business Management / Administration /in a relevant management-related discipline with a specialization in Agribusiness/ Rural Management/ Food and Agri-Business Management and allied areas in Agri-Business. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phill./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.
