Post and Vacancy for IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023:

According to the IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023 Notification, IIT is inviting applications for the Post of Deputy Registrar, in the area of Finance and Accounts. There is only one vacancy for the Job Post.

Eligibility for IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023:

As per the IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, the eligible candidate should have the following qualifications and experience to apply.

Essential:

Master’s degree in Commerce/ Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade point average, with relevant experience of eleven years after the qualifying degree, out of which five years should be at the post of Assistant Registrar in the area of Finance and Accounts or at an equivalent
post in Pay Level 10 (56100-177500) or above, with demonstrated ability to supervise computerized administration.

Desirable:

Preference will be given to applicants who have qualified CA/ ICWA along with good academic records. Applicants should have sound knowledge of Central Government Rules related to Finance and Accounts including preparation of statements of accounts, budget estimates, FR & SR, GFR, audit of accounts, and working experience in computerized accounting systems and accounting software.

Remuneration for IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023:

As per the IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023 notification, the selected candidate will be placed at Pay Level 12 (78800 – 209200) when appointed to the given post.

Selection Process for IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023:

There shall be a written test for shortlisting, marks of which will not be carried forward for the further selection process. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final round of the selection process, i.e., an interview. The final selection will be through an interview.

As per the IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023 Notification, applicants possessing the requisite qualification(s) and relevant experience may apply online at the official website. A soft copy of the application sent over e-mail to any Institute Officials will not be considered for the selection process. A hard copy of the online application is not required to be sent by post.
