CBI Recruitment 2023: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), New Delhi has called in Applications from Eligible Officers with Willingness for the Appointment of a Deputy Advisor (Foreign Trade or Foreign Exchange) Post On Deputation. As has been notified in the CBI Recruitment 2023 Advertisement/Vacancy Circular there is 01 Vacancy to be replenished on Deputation Basis under the Pay Level 10 [Pay Band: 03 Rs.15600-39100 (GP Rs.5400 Pre-Revised)]. Applications with regard to Eligible Officials with Willingness should be routed through the “Proper Channel”.
The Cadre Controlling Authority/Employer may forward the Names with duly completed Applications in respect of the Willing and Eligible Officials within 60 Days of the CBI Recruitment 2023 Notification/Vacancy Circular Dated 3rd January 2023 (03.01.2023).
As per this CBI Recruitment 2023 Notification, Notified 01 Vacancy shall be filled on Deputation Basis for 03 Years.

Recruitment Methodology: By Deputation
According to the CBI Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Post Deputy Advisor By Deputation (ISTC) shall be entitled to the Salary explained hereunder:
Pay Scale: Level 10 [Pay Band: 03 Rs.15600-39100 (GP Rs.5400 Pre-Revised)]
As has been notified in the CBI Recruitment 2023, the Maximum Age (as on the Closing ate of receipt of Applications) should not be exceeding 56 Years.
Age Limit: Not to exceed 56 Years (The Maximum Age Limit for Appointment by Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract)
The Officers under the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration/Government Financial Institutions including the RBI/NABARD/SIDBI/Public Sector Financial Institution (including the Public Sector Banks)
A.I) holding Analogous Post(s) on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; Or
ii) with 02 Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered post Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800 Plus GP Rs.4800 (Pre-Revised) Pay Level 8 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or Equivalent in Parent Cadre or Department; Or
iii) with 03 Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered post Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800 Plus GP Rs.4600 (Pre-Revised) Pay Level 7 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or Equivalent in Parent Cadre or Department; And
B) Having in possession the following Educational Qualification and Experience:
A: Essential Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Graduate in any discipline from the Accredited University.
B: Service Experience: 03-Years’ Experience of Inspection or Vigilance or Operational Work in Foreign Trade or Foreign Exchange Domain.
C: Desirable: Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.) from the Accredited University; Or
Any Qualification duly recognized from Enrolment in the Register of Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI); Or
Diploma in Taxation Laws from the Accredited University or Institute; Or
01-Year’s Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in Foreign Trade or International Business from the Accredited University.
The Official shall be Shortlisted for Viva voce/Personal Interaction. Only Officer Candidates shortlisted for Interview would be summoned to participate in the Viva voce Process. The Officer selected on Deputy Advisor Post will be issued Appointment for 03 Years’ Service with the Terms of Reference explained in the CBI Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for the purpose.
Deputation Tenure: The Deputation Tenure (Including Short-Term Contract) including the Deputation (ISTC) Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 (Three) Years.
