Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education.

Essential:-
Working / Sailing Experience onboard Indian / Foreign going ships for at least 5 years
OR
Ex-Indian Navy/ Coast Guard personnel with a minimum of 10 years of experience, which includes at least six years of sailing experience onboard Naval / Coast Guard Ships.
Desirable:-
a) Persons who have experience in Industrial / Marine training in establishments.
b) Done a course on “Training for Trainers and Instructors (TOTI)” conducted by DGS-approved Institutes.

The upper age limit for the post shall not exceed 62 years as on 15 March 2023, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 16 March 1961.

Consolidated Pay (₹ per month) – ₹ 32,870/-
Medical Allowance (₹) – ₹ 2130/-
Total (₹) – 35,000/-

(i) Application fee of ₹ 400/- (Non – refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 22 February 2023 to 15 March 2023. No other mode of payment shall be accepted.
(ii) Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee.
(iii) All applicants for whom the fee is applicable i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD should pay the application fee as stipulated above. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee.
