APSC Recruitment 2023: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is inviting applicants for the post of Inspector of Statistics in the Directorate of Economics & Statistics under the Transformation and Development Department, Government of Assam. According to the APSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 04 vacancies for the given post. The selected candidates will get a Pay Scale, Grade Pay, and Other allowances as admissible to the Assam state Government employees which will be between Rs. 22000 to Rs. 97000 per month. As mentioned in the Official notification of APSC Recruitment 2023, applicants who are applying for the above-mentioned post should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01.01.2023 and upper age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and OBC between 5 years to 3 years. The starting date of the Online application is 30th March 2023.

For this post, the maximum is 38 years and the minimum age is 21 years. SC/ST candidates will get 5 years of upper age limit relaxation i.e upto 43 years and for OBC/MOBC candidates by 3 years i.e upto 41 years and for PwBD by 10 years i.e upto 48 years.
Selected candidates will get a monthly remuneration between Rs 22000 to Rs. 97000 + Grade Pay+ Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).
Candidates applying for the job should have At least a second-class Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics from a recognized University or its equivalent.
