Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience-

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University; and
• Eighteen years’ experience in the field of Investigation or Planning or Design or Execution or Operation and Maintenance of Water Resources Development Projects or Environment or Administration or Management; or
• Eighteen years’ experience in the preparation of Master Plans or Comprehensive
• Plans for Flood Management or River Training Works or General Administration.

B-

All India Service officers:

• Holding an analogous post in the Central Government or State Government on regular basis; or
• With three years’ regular service in level-14 (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,20C)/-) in the pay matrix or equivalent in Central Government or State Government; and
• Eighteen years’ experience in the field of Investigation or Planning or Design or Execution or Operation and Maintenance of Water Resources Development Projects or Environment or Administration or Management.
