NIA Recruitment 2023: The National Investigation Agency (NIA), Branch Office, Patna (Bihar) has called in Applications from Retired Police Officers/Officials for Contractual Engagement as Investigation Expert (Consultant) vide the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 27.03.2023 . The NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandated the Officers retired from the Rank of Inspectors, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police and Superintendent of Police Rank or Equivalent thereof under the Central Government and State Government apply in the Prescribed Application Proforma with the Mandatory Enclosures.
Note: As is notified in the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Walk-in Interview for Appointment for Engagement as Investigation Expert (Consultant) for Posting in Patna, will be conducted on 14th April 2023 (14.04.2023).

Posting Situation: NIA Branch Office
Engagement Tenure: 01 Year with the Provision of Extension Maximum up to 05 Years or the 65 Years’ Age, whichever being Earlier.
According to the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Appropriately Suitable Candidate shall be paid Monthly Remuneration as explained hereunder:
Monthly Remuneration: Last Pay Drawn – Basic Pension = Monthly Remuneration

According to the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Eligibility for Investigation Expert (Consultant) comprises the Essential Criteria comprising Educational Qualification, Ex-Post Rank and Experience
Eligibility: Retired Inspector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Superintendent of Police (SP) or Equivalent Level Officers under the Central Police Organization; i.e, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Intelligence Bureau (IB), Cabinet Secretariat, The National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO), Customs, Income-Tax, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), etc. and State Police.
Experience: Minimum 10 Years’ Experience in handling Criminal Investigation Cases or Intelligence Work or Counter Terrorism.
Educational Qualification: Graduation
Selection on the Investigating Expert (Consultant) shall be carried through by Viva-voce/Interview. Appropriately Suitable Retired Officer shall be issued Appointment post Selection for up to Maximum 05 Years.
The NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates the Eligible Retired Officers to appear in the Walk-in Interview with Detailed Application Proforma with Enclosures slated to be held on 14.04.2023.
