JKCET 2023: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) released the application form for the Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2023. The JKBOPEE commenced the JKCET 2023 application process on 4th April 2023. Eligible and interested candidates can fill out the application form by visiting the official website of the JKBOPEE. The last date to register and fill out the online application form for the JKCET 2023 is 24th April 2023.
The JKBOPEE organizes the JKCET for admission to the Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology program in various private and government institutions in Jammu & Kashmir. Candidates seeking admission to BE/BTech programs in Jammu and Kashmir’s government and private colleges should apply for JKCET 2023. Successful candidates will be able to pursue an engineering/technology degree of their choice or availability, such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and many more.
The examination date for the Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2023 will be announced by the JKBOPEE through a separate notification. It is expected to be conducted in the last week of May 2023. It is also likely that JKBOPEE may not conduct the entrance exam and admit students based on the marks scored in class 12th. If conducted, the entrance exam will take place offline, i.e., in pen-and-paper mode. There are a total of 2,346 seats available in various engineering streams in different colleges in Jammu & Kashmir.

The JKBOPEE is likely to organize the JKCET 2023 in May end. The JKCET 2023 exam will be conducted offline. The entrance exam will be for 3 hours. The exam will consist of 180 questions. The question will be of objective type, i.e., MCQs (multiple choice questions). The different section of the question paper is tabulated below:

The JKBOPEE has released the JK CET 2023 form on its official website. Candidates will have to complete the application process online. The application fee for the above-mentioned exam is Rs 1000. Candidates can fill out their application form by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 2: Click on the link “Apply Online” present on the CET Engineering tab available on the home page
Step 3: Click on the link ‘click here to fill application’ and fill out the relevant details in the application window
Step 4: Pay the application fee online and submit the documents in the prescribed format
