Overview:

HSBC is hiring an experienced Analyst at their Bangalore location. The incumbent will be required to work extensively with South and South East Asia Debt Capital Markets The work scope primarily involves ensuring that the deals we undertake in DCM are compliant from regulatory, legal, credit and other procedural aspects.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Preparing internal approvals for DCM transactions, including Conflict checks, KYC, Credit Approvals, Approval Committees, Transaction Registers, Confidentiality Agreements etc

Ensuring comprehensive documentation and record keeping, such as the establishment of deal transaction folders and ensuring that all transaction documents are captured to the appropriate standards, including the keeping and updating of relevant transaction checklists

Ensure that post transaction activities take place, such as interacting with Finance, arranging for fee invoicing and transaction expenses to be made to 3rdparties

Work closely with the COO team to develop an understanding of the regulatory requirements of the sector / product to ensure that the existing processes are appropriate

Will also be required to:

Undergo continuous learning and enhance job specific skills over-time

Pro-actively suggest and design improvements in process workflow, where applicable

Take ownership of work done and have high execution capabilities

Qualifications for this Job:

Strong organizational skills

Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

Highly proficient at Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Strong accounts, corporate finance, quantitative and business writing skills

Good at multitasking

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Eye for details
