Overview:

American Express is hiring an experienced Associate- Digital Product Analytics at their Gurgaon location. The Analyst, Performance Measurement will report directly to the Manager, Performance Measurement. The Analyst will work with various CoDO teams to understand their work and product scope, evaluate their performance measurement landscape, and create a relevant framework to measure & track the same. The focus is around quantitative analysis for Metrics & KPI reporting.

What will you be doing:

Align with Commercial data office initiatives and develop & maintain periodic capability performance analysis as it relates to health, strategic value, volume, efficiencies, cycle time, quality, and service

Enable effective, efficient working relationship with product and technology partners

Report on strategic & operational metrics, conduct data and business analysis, and present summary of findings to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format

Create and maintain operational scorecards to track and report on KPIs

Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems (MIS)

Generate and distribute management reports & dashboards in accurate and timely manner

Develops MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance

Align with partners to provide quality solutions & alternatives that meet requirements & project deliverables

Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency

Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis

Develop MIS system for stakeholder management and internal communication

Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to product team

Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed

Understand key data needs and partners with capabilities / product teams to enable the same for reporting

Analyze system information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.

Maintain thorough understanding of data and information resources

Qualifications for this Job:

1-3 years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred

Knowledge of SQL, Hive, Python, Tableau & Excel to pull information, data assimilation and reporting/dashboarding

Analytical experience required

Strong ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations

Sound business decision-making ability

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to communicate with people of various technical and business backgrounds

Outstanding relationship and influence management skills to collaborate with internal and external partners
