The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) invites applications for the positions of Chief General Manager, General Manager, Hindi Translator and Junior Hindi Translator. For the mentioned positions, there are 05 openings.

Age Limit for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

The applicant’s age should not be more than 56 years in order to apply for NHAI Recruitment 2024.

Tenure for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

The chosen applicant for NHAI Recruitment 2024 will be engaged for 03 (three) years which may be extended for another 02 (two) years with the approval of the Chairman, NHAI. Further extension beyond 5th year and up to a maximum of 10 years shall be with the approval of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways subject to satisfactory performance.

Salary for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

The salary offered to the selected candidates for NHAI Recruitment 2024 is mentioned below-

For Chief General Manager-

• The selected candidates will get a monthly salary between Rs.37400 to Rs. 67000 with Grade Pay Rs.10000 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-14 (Rs.144200- 218200) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

For General Manager (Finance)- 

• The selected candidates will get a monthly salary in Level-13 i.e. between Rs.123100 to Rs. 215900) (prerevised) PB-4 (Rs.37,400-67,000) with Grade Pay Rs.8700.

For General Manager (Land Acquisition and Estate Management)- 

• The selected candidates will get a monthly salary between Rs.37400 to Rs. 67000 with GP of Rs.8700 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-13 (Rs.123100-215900) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

For Hindi Translator and Junior Hindi Translator-

• The selected candidates will get a monthly salary between Rs.9300 to Rs. 34800) with a GP of Rs.4200 (prerevised), equivalent to Pay Level-6 (Rs.35400-112400) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

Qualification for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the given below Qualifications to apply for NHAI Recruitment 2024.

Chief General Manager (Legal)-

• Candidates must have a Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institute.
• Candidates must have 17 years service as Group-‘A’ Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400 (pre-revised in CDA pattern equivalent to Pay Level-10 (56100-177500) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC or equivalent level post or higher on a regular basis out of which 07 years experience in the field of law related to contractual matters/ arbitration/ legislative matters/ land acquisition.

General Manager (Finance)-

• Candidates must have a Degree in Commerce / Accounts from a recognized university or ICAI / ICWAI / MBA (Finance) from a recognized University / Institute OR Member of any organized Group-‘A’ Finance/ Accounts related Service of the Central Government or of the State Government.
• Candidates must have 14 years of experience in the Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400/- or equivalent or higher out of which 7 years experience in Financial Accounting/ Budgeting/ InternalAudit/ Contract Management/ Fund Management/ Disbursement in an organization of repute.

General Manager (Land Acquisition & Estate Management)-

• Candidates must have a Degree from a recognized University/ Institute.
• Candidates must have 14 years of experience in the pay scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (pre-revised) in CDA pattern equivalent to Pay Level-10 (Rs.56100-177500) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC or equivalent or higher, out of which at least 05 (five) years experience in handling land acquisition matters.
