Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Home Affairs invites applications for the post of ASO on a contractual basis. As per the official notification for the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023, there is only one vacancy available for this post. Only retired government employees are eligible to appear for this recruitment. The vacant position is available at the office of DG – FS, CD & HG, an attached office of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The selected candidate will work as a full-time employee.
According to the official notification for the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023, candidates who have retired up to 30th April 2023 and who have experience in the functioning of the Central Government Ministries /Departments are eligible to apply. Essential: Candidate must have retired at the level of Assistant Section Officer or equivalent from Central Government Ministries/Departments in Level – 7 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Desirable: Candidates with good computer knowledge and experience in Administrative & Establishment / Procurement procedures / Financial / Secretariat Matters, RTI, Court Cases, Parliamentary issues, Audit & Accounting, PFMS, Govt. Financial Management System, etc., will be preferred.
In accordance with the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates who have retired by 30/04/2023 after attaining superannuation age will be eligible. Candidates must be born on or after 01/01/1960.
As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will have to work on a full-time basis in a consultant role. He/She will have to do processing of all correspondence, reports, returns, and any other work assigned by the competent authority. The selected candidate will not be allowed to take up any other assignment during the job period. The candidate selected as a consultant will have to work as per the working hours of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
As per the information given in the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will be initially inducted for a tenure of 1 year. The tenure may be extended beyond one year depending upon the requirement of the office of DG- FS, CD & HG and the performance review of the consultants. In any circumstances, the job tenure shall not be extended beyond five years after superannuation.
