SEBA Assam HSLC Result 2023 Declared: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam, famously known as SEBA Assam released the results for HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) examinations for the year 2023. The result was declared today, 22nd May 2023 at 10 am on the official website. The pass percentage for SEBA Assam saw a magnificent increase of approximately 14% as compared to the last year. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 72.69%, which is a significant improvement from the last year.
SEBA Assam conducted the HSLC examination, also known as the Class 10th examination, for the year 2023 from 3rd March 2023 to 1st April 2023. Around 5 lakh students registered for the HSLC exam in 2023 out of which about 4.15 lakh students appeared for the exam. Candidates can now check their results on the official website of the SEBA Assam apart from various other websites. The announcement of the result was made by the Education and Welfare of Plain Tribe & Backward Classes Minister of Assam, Ranoj Pegu, on his Twitter handle at around 8 am.
Along with the result, the SEBA Assam has also released several important stats regarding the HSLC Result 2023. Hridam Thakuria of Sankardev Shishu Niketan, Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district has topped the SEBA Assam HSLC exam 2023. He scored a commendable 596 marks out of 600. Students can now vier their results by entering their roll number in the result window.

This year, students have shown commendable improvement and scored a very high pass percentage compared to previous years (excluding the covid pandemic years). The pass percentage of both girls and boys, as well as the overall pass percentage too, has surpassed the record of both last year’s record low and pre-covid performance. This year’s pass percentage saw an increase of 14% as compared to the previous year’s pass percentage of a disheartening 56.49%. Boys have performed well as compared to girls.
