Applications are invited for the posts of Chief General Manager/General Manager (Civil), Additional General Manager (Design), Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock), Deputy General Manager (E and M), Manager (Signalling) and Assistant Manager (Operations). Place of Posting for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidate will be posted in Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar/ Surat or any other projects of GMRC, anywhere in Gujarat.

Age Limit for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of GMRC recruitment 2023, the upper age limit is different for every post which is given below-

Chief General Manager/General Manager (Civil)-

• The maximum age limit is 55 Years on Contract basis.
• The maximum age limit is 58 years for deputation.
• The maximum age limit is 62 years for Post superannuation basis.

Additional General Manager (Design)-

• The maximum age limit is 53 Years on Contract basis.
• The maximum age limit is 58 years for deputation.
• The maximum age limit is 62 years for Post superannuation basis.

Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock) and Deputy General Manager (E and M)-

• The maximum age limit is 45 Years.

Manager (Signalling)-

• The maximum age limit is 40 Years.

Assistant Manager (Operations)-

• The maximum age limit is 32 Years.

Salary for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of GMRC recruitment 2023, the selected candidate for the above-mentioned posts will be given a monthly remuneration of up to Rs. 280000

Chief General Manager/General Manager (Civil)- The selected candidate will be given a monthly remuneration of upto Rs. 280000.

Additional General Manager (Design)- The selected candidate will be given a monthly remuneration of upto Rs. 260000.

Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock) and Deputy General Manager (E and M)- The selected candidate will be given a monthly remuneration of upto Rs. 200000.

Manager (Signalling)- The selected candidate will be given a monthly remuneration of upto Rs. 180000.

Assistant Manager (Operations)- The selected candidate will be given a monthly remuneration of upto Rs. 160000.

Qualification for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for GMRC Recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-

For Chief General Manager/General Manager (Civil)-

Candidate must be B.E./ B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/Institute

Candidate should have minimum 20 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive level in reputed private organization of Civil Construction of major bridges, railways, underground, rail track etc or 18 years Post Qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU’s.

For Additional General Manager (Design)-

Candidate must be a B.E /B.Tech Civil engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute and M.E./M. Tech. in Structural/design Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/Institute is desirable.

Applicants should have minimum 18 years of Post Qualification experience of executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 15 years of post-qualification experience of executive level in Government/PSU’s.

For Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock)-

Candidate must be a B.E /B.Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.

Applicants should have minimum 10 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 08 years of post-qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU’s

For Deputy General Manager (E and M)-

Candidate must be a B.E /B.Tech (Electrical/ Mechanical /Electrical and Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.

Applicants should have minimum 10 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 08 years of post-qualification experience of Executive level in Government / PSU’s.

For Manager (Signalling)-  

Candidate must be a B.E /B.Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/Electronics and Communications/Applied Electronics/ Industrial Electronics/ Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.

Applicants should have minimum 9 years of Post Qualification experience of Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 07 years of experience of Executive level in Government / PSU’s.

For Assistant Manager (Operations)-

Candidate must be B.E. /B. Tech in Electrical/Mechanical or Equivalent engineering from a Government recognized University/Institute.

Candidate should have minimum 5 years of Post Qualification experience in reputed private organization or Candidate should have 05 years of experience in PSU/Metro Corporation.

Tenure for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of GMRC recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a contractual basis for minimum 3 years to 5 years on extendable basis.

Selection Procedure for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview. The date, time and venue of the interview will be intimated to shortlisted candidates through email.
