Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways is looking for retired and eligible candidates for the post of Presiding Officer. As mentioned in the official notification of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023, the monthly salary provided for a retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India appointed as Presiding Officer of the Adjudicatory Board,  shall be entitled to salary, allowances and other perquisites payable to the sitting Judge of the Supreme Court, and as provided in the Supreme Court Judges (Salaries and Conditions of Services) Act, 1958 and rules made thereunder.

As mentioned in the official notification of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be employed for a term of not more than five years from the date of joining when they begin their position or until they turn 70 years old, whichever comes first. Candidates should not be qualified for appointment as the Presiding Officer of the Adjudicatory Board unless the candidate is a retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India or a retired Chief Justice of a High Court. As given in the official notification of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023, candidates who are interested and willing may obtain the required application form from the official announcement and send it, properly filled out, along with the necessary documentation, to the Joint Secretary(Ports), Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, 4th Floor, Transport Bhawan, No. 1 Parliament Street, New Delhi – 110001, before the deadline. No other application method will be taken into account. The last date to submit the application form is extended till 09.09.2023.

Tenure for Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be engaged for a period not exceeding 05 years from the date of joining on which they enter their office or until they attain the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

According to the official notification of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023, candidates should not qualify for appointment as the Presiding Officer of the Adjudicatory Board unless he is retires Judge of the Supreme Court of India or a retired Chief Justice of a High Court.

As given in the official notification of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023, the monthly salary provided for a retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India appointed as Presiding Officer of the Adjudicatory Board, shall be entitled to salary, allowances and other perquisites payable to the sitting Judge of the Supreme Court, and as provided in the Supreme Court Judges (Salaries and Conditions of Services) Act, 1958 and rules made thereunder.

The last date for submitting the application form is extended till 09.09.2023. Application received after the due date will be REJECTED.
