HPPSC Recruitment 2025: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is seeking online applications from bright and educated candidates for the post of Assistant Professor (Nephrology), (Super- speciality) Class-I (Gazetted) on a regular basis in the Department of Medical Education & Research. There are 02 openings to be filled in HPPSC Recruitment 2025. The maximum age limit is 45 years and below to apply for the above-mentioned post. The candidate should have at least 3 years of teaching experience as a Lecturer/ Registrar/ Demonstrators/ Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognized Medical College (see below).
The selection will be done by the Commission by subjecting the applicants to two types of written papers/ tests to be conducted on the same day in two sessions, followed by a Personality Test. The candidate should have Knowledge of the customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh. As stated in the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2025, willing and capable candidates can apply online through the official website of HPPSC on or before the closing date. The other mode of application will not be accepted.

The candidate should be the age of 45 years and below to apply for HPPSC Recruitment 2025. Provided that the upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes/ Persons with disabilities and Children/Grand Children of Freedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh as declared by the Govt. from time to time. The age relaxation for these categories shall be admissible only if there is a post reserved for these categories. The age of the candidates shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2025.

Desirable Qualification-
As stated in the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2025, the chosen candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.37400-67000+ (G.P. 8900).
The candidates will be selected for HPPSC Recruitment 2025 on the basis of screening tests/descriptive subject aptitude tests and personality test. The candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of HPPSC.

Paper II-
Based on the merit of Paper-I, the answer sheets of Paper-II of the candidates shall be evaluated as per the given table. No candidates securing zero or negative marks in Paper-I shall form part of the merit list:

If the ratio between the number of eligible candidates and the posts advertised is below 20, the eligible candidates will only be required to appear for Paper II followed by Personality Test.
Candidates have to pay an examination fee up to Rs.600 to apply for HPPSC Recruitment 2025. The payment of the examination fee will be online by Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/any other online digital mode on or before the last date. Applications submitted without the prescribed fee/mode shall be summarily rejected. The category-wise fee details are described below-
