The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is recruiting aspirants to fill up the Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Junior Translator Officer, Senior Hindi Translator and Senior Translator. The number of open seats for the indicated posts is 307.

Salary for SSC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of SSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate will get a salary between Rs.35400 to Rs.142400 per month.

Age Limit for SSC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of SSC Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit for the aforementioned position is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years  as of 01.08.2023, i.e., candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply.

Qualification for SSC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the SSC Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications.

Junior Hindi Translator/Junior Translation Officer/Junior Translator

• Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  or
• Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective
  subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  or
• Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
  or
• Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  or
• Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsoryor elective subject at degree level
  and
• Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Senior Hindi Translator/Senior Translator

• Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  or
• Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  or
• Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  or
• Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  or
• Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level
  and
• Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or three years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Selection Procedure for SSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of SSC Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the examination. The examination will consist of two papers.

Application Fee for SSC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of SSC Recruitment 2023, applicants need to pay an Application fee of Rs.100, whereas, Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of fee. Fees can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card.
