Maruti Suzuki is hiring an experienced DM/Manager for Cost Reduction activities at their Gurgram location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Extensive hands-on experience on cost reduction drives [VA-VE, Localization, Inner Part Location, yield improvement, Cost Workshops etc]
• Teardown & functional analysis, cost estimation, part level benchmarking and techno-commercial comparison and analysis of following:
• Proposal analysis, making costing & negotiation with internal stake holders.
• Vehicle Cost Analysis, BOM understanding and preparation etc.
• Components vis-à-vis competitor vehicle parts
• Generation of innovative value enhancement & design to cost proposal.
• Should be a self-initiator, team player and passionate about cost reduction, analysis etc.
• Should be good in generation of cost/weight reduction & new technology ideas.
• Should be having excellent communication skills [Verbal/Written/Reports etc.]

Competency Requirements:-

Technical/Functional-

• Thorough technical as well commercial knowledge of all aspects of cost reduction for all automotive systems/subsystems/parts.
• Thorough technical of product manufacturing technology and aspects of production engineering etc.

Managerial–

• Plan and schedule activities in advance.
• Ability to communicate with Peers/Vendors/Cross functional teams Machine Makers etc.
• Positive attitude with willingness to undertake new initiatives.

Educational Qualification:-

• B.E./B.Tech [Mechanical Engg], [ Manufacturing/ Industrial Engg ], [ Electrical Engg] [Electronics, Communication], [Mechatronics]
