Overview:

United Airlines is hiring an experienced Analyst – Tooling Standards and Support at their Gurugram location. The Senior Analyst – Tooling Standards & Support, is responsible for the development and management of key performance indicators (KPIs), data analysis, data interpretation, and presentation of key findings that support the tooling operation. The Senior Analyst must be able to manage multiple projects in support of the central and field tooling operations, including developing, communicating, training, and auditing on standardized processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

• Produce clear and concise interpretations of process analysis by gathering, cleansing and interpreting data. Make results-driven recommendations for financial improvements
• Liaise with subject matter experts and data analysts to create, improve and implement new metrics and KPI’s
• Manage multiple projects that support central and field tooling operations, including developing, communicating, training, and auditing on standardized processes
• Manage ad hoc tooling projects by creating long- and short-term plans, setting milestones and adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience
• Demonstrated ability to document processes and procedures
• Principles of project management
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills
• Exhibits an analytical approach to problem solving with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Knowledge of relational database models and SQL
• Microsoft Office Proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
• A/C Tooling Operation
• Proficient in project management tools
• Proficient with data visualization  tools (i.e., Tableu, Spotfire)
• Experience developing and deploying models using programming languages such as R or Python
