Microsoft is hiring an experienced Technical Program Manager at multiple locations. Their PMs leads efforts such as prioritizing and delivering on the roadmap; managing project schedules and release plans; reporting to stakeholders; identifying and reporting risks; monitoring product/service performance and driving continuous improvement in quality, supportability, and delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Planning & Execution Excellence: Manage and facilitate the rhythm of business for the team, including regular staff meetings, leadership reviews, and semester planning
• Roadmap and Alignment: Drive alignment to a multi-year roadmap in conjunction with product managers, engineering managers and engineering individual contributors by making data-driven decisions
• Risk and Reporting: Track program progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively propose solutions or workaround to ensure successful project delivery. Consistently report the progress and risks to stakeholders
• Communications: Serve as a point of contact and establish lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration
• Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, where diverse perspectives are valued, and team members are empowered to contribute their best work
• Product understanding: Develop a good understanding of how sovereign customers use cloud and their need for differentiating technologies with data sensitivity top of mind

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a related role
• Experience in SaaS products is preferred
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Results-oriented with a commitment to quality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
