Cisco is hiring an experienced Software Engineer at their Bangalore locations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day development activities like writing, modifying and debugging software, and primarily focus on custom development tasks on the Sales Credit and Compensation platform.
• Design and build reusable components in the compensation platform with data integration as highest priority and manage data lake inbound/outbound.
• Perform independent code reviews and certify code developed by self and other team members on the project.
• Build, develop and support innovative custom solutions and integrations.
• Perform automated unit testing.
• Investigate and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Test/QA Engineers and Analysts to drive test automation.
• Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the support, documentation and/or maintenance of systems.
• Own the product and ensure deliveries with superior code quality. Support and maintain the platform in production environment.
• Develop solutions with your in depth knowledge, of Snowflake, PL/SQL and Python.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or other relevant Engineering Bachelors with strong Computer Science AND 7+ years of professional experience designing and building software applications, OR
• Masters in Computer Science or other relevant Engineering Bachelors with strong Computer Science AND 4+ years of professional experience designing and building software applications
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering as a Tech Lead.
• Solid understanding and experience in Snowflake and Python.
• Proven understanding of key PL/SQL architectural concepts and how they influence design.
• Experience with custom integrations using technologies like Informatica, REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology.
• Experience with development and infrastructure tools including Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, and Git
• Solid communications and organizational skills, and ability to work successfully in a team environment
