Rites Recruitment 2024: Rites is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Section Engineer/ Civil- Permanent Way, Drawing and Design Expert/ Electrical, Assistant Safety and Health Expert, Assistant Environmental Expert, QS and Billing Engineer, Assistant R and R Social Expert, Section Engineer–Civil/ Design and Section Engineer-Drawing and Design (Electrical). As mentioned in the official notification of Rites Recruitment 2024, there are 12 vacancies for the mentioned positions. The educational qualification is different for each post as mentioned below. The maximum age limit for applying for the mentioned position is 55 years. The candidates applying for the mentioned position should have relevant years of experience in their appropriate field. The candidate should possess a Degree recognized by AICTE. The pay and allowances will be given to the selected candidates as per their experience gained by them.
According to the official notification of Rites Recruitment 2024, the appointment will be on a contractual basis for an initial period of 01 year, extendable until the completion of the assignment depending upon the candidate’s performance and the committee’s requirements. Educational requirements and Experience required for the posts are listed below:
Section Engineer/ Civil- Permanent Way:
The candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or equivalent or a Diploma in civil engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
The candidates should have a total professional experience of at least 04 years for degree holders or 07 years for Diploma holders. in construction of Railway Lines Track Renewals or track maintenance in rail infrastructure projects or in any eligible works. Preference shall be given to the person having experience in the supervision of Mechanized Track Linking.
Drawing and Design Expert/ Electrical:
The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
OR
Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering OR a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
The candidates should have at least 04 years of experience as Graduate Engineers or 07 years of experience as Diploma Engineers in Infrastructure Projects involving railway electrification aspects. Experience shall be with a Project Management Consultant or General Consultant and/ or with Electrification Contractors either individually or combined having experience in designing OHE and PSI for IR systems.
Assistant Safety and Health Expert:
The candidates should have a Diploma in any branch of engineering.
Experience:
The candidates should have at least 04 years of experience in supervision of safety works in infrastructure projects.
Preference will be given to a person with experience in Railway projects.
Assistant Environmental Expert:
The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering Management, Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
OR
Diploma in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
The candidates should have at least 04 years of experience as degree holders or 07 years of experience as diploma holders in environmental management and monitoring in infrastructure projects of railway or highway or of any eligible works.

According to the official notification of Rites Recruitment 2024, the applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of the walk-in interview conducted by the committee. Candidates have the option to appear for an interview either in Hindi or English.
