Tenure for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the candidate will be appointed for a period of 1 year (extendable for another year subject to requirement and availability of funds.)

Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2024: 

As stated in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the age limit is mentioned below:

For Consultants –

• The applicant’s upper age should be 70 years.

For Project Senior Research Fellow –

• The applicant’s upper age should be 35 years.

For Project Data Entry Operator Grade – C–

• The upper age should be 30 years old.

For Project Lab. Assistant-

• The upper age should be 28 years old.

Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

As indicated in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the emolument is given below:

For Consultants –

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs. 70000.

For Project Senior Research Fellow-

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs. 44500.

For Project Data Entry Operator Grade – C-

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs. 31000.

For Project Lab. Assistant-

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs. 17000.

Essential Qualifications  for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the qualifications required for the mentioned post are given below:

For Consultants –

• The candidate should have Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Life Sciences from a recognized University with proven experience in research or labs.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have experience in Nutrient analyses using HPLC/ICPMS/GC/LCMS/G CMS and other analytical equipment. Evidence based experience in publishing manuscripts, knowledge in good laboratory practices, internal & external quality control processes.
  Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and data processing/management is preferred.

For Project Senior Research Fellow-

• The candidate should have M.Sc. in Food Science & Nutrition/M.Sc. Life Science/M.Sc./M. Tech in Biotechnology with two years of research experience from a recognized University.

Desirable –

• The candidate should have hands-on experience in food nutrient analysis / handling experience on HPLC/GC/ ICPMS/LCMS/GCMS.

For Project Data Entry Operator Grade – C-

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application / IT / Computer Science from a recognized institution/ university.
• A speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
