UGC NET 2024: NTA adds Disaster Management Subject in UGC NET 2024 from December Session

UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the UGC NET 2024 Exam. The UGC NET 2024 Exam will be held today, June 18, 2024. The duration of the exam would be three hours. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced a new Disaster Management subject. The subject is added to the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 Exam, December session. The UGC NET 2024 Exam is conducted twice a year, in June and December.

According to the expert committee’s suggestions, the Commission, in its 580th meeting held on May 15, 2024, has decided to add Disaster Management as an additional subject from December 2024 onwards to the existing list of subjects of UGC-NET, as stated in the public notice on June 13 by UGC Secretary, Manish R. Joshi. The new Disaster Management subject will be included in the UGC NET subjects, i.e., starting in December 2024. The syllabus of the subject will be provided.
