NBEMS issues a warning regarding fake NEET-PG Notifications that are making the rounds on social media

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a cautionary note on Fake notifications that are making the rounds on social media. According to the beard, fraudulent notifications purporting to be from NBEMS are being circulated on social media concerning the updated NEET PG 2024 schedule.

“It has come to the notice of NBEMS that some unscrupulous agents/touts are making false and bogus claims to the candidates and using spoofed notices, emails, SMS or contents on social media in the name of NBEMS for phishing.” peruses the notification.

According to NBE, fraudulent announcements about the new timetable for NEET PG 2024 are making the rounds on social media. From July 2020 onwards, all of the NBE’s notices, the agency said, would have QR codes on them. Users can access the notice by scanning the code.

Applicants are cautioned not to be duped by dishonest agents or touts who make fictitious and fraudulent claims that they can assist any candidate in any manner.

“Candidates are not notified by email or SMS by NBEMS on how to get high scores on any of the exams that NBEMS administers”. NBE issued the following warning: “When receiving any email, SMS, or message on social media from NBEMS, please double check the information you received via SMS with an email or update from the NBEMS website.”

Candidates are urged to report to NBEMS via its communication web portal if they are contacted by dishonest agents or touts who purport to offer question papers for NBEMS exams via phone calls, spoof emails or SMS, or fake documents.
