  3. Furthermore, a working grasp of computer systems and their operations will be required. The candidates should have studied computer/information technology as one of their topics in high school or college, or they should hold a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer operations or language. In order to apply, students must also be proficient in the official language of the State or UT.
  4. Candidates also need to maintain a clean credit history at the time of joining, in addition to the previously listed basic requirements. The IBPS stated, “The minimum credit score will be in accordance with the policies of participating banks”. Candidates whose CIBIL status has not been updated prior to the joining date must either get it updated or present lender NOCs attesting to the fact that there are no outstanding balances related to the accounts that are adversely reflected in the CIBIL. If this is not done, the offer letter may be withdrawn or cancelled.
  5. There will be a 100-mark IBPS Clerk Prelims exam. Within sixty minutes, the applicants will have to respond to one hundred questions. The IBPS will choose a sufficient number of applicants for each category based on the requirements before sending out invitations to the online Main examination.
  7. The Mains examination will last 160 minutes and consist of 190 questions worth 200 marks. The exam will consist of four sections: Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50 questions, 60 marks); General/Financial Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks); and Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions, 60 marks).
  8. The Mains paper will be divided into two sections: the first two will last 35 minutes each, while the latter two will last 45 minutes. Every alteration to the exam’s structure will be announced via the official IBPS website, ibps.in. Candidates can download the information handout along with their call letters from the official IBPS website, ibps.in, which has more comprehensive information about the exam, according to the institute.
  9. Examinees who mark incorrect answers will be subject to penalties. A penalty of one-fourth, or 0.25, of the marks allotted to that question will be subtracted for an incorrect response. There won’t be any penalties for questions that remain blank, meaning the candidate hasn’t marked their response.
  10. Each applicant needs to pass the test with a minimal score, or “cut-off.” The number of State/UT-specific openings will determine the cut-offs. Before the process of provisional allotment is finished, the IBPS Clerk Mains marks will not be disclosed.
