IIMC  is hiring candidates for the post of Assistant Editor, Assistant Library and Information Officer, Section Officer, Senior Research Assistant, Library and Information Assistant, Technical Assistant (Audio/Visual) and Library Clerk. There are 09 openings for the designated post, according to the official IIMC Recruitment 2024 notification.

Qualification for IIMC Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the required qualifications and experience for applying to IIMC Recruitment 2024 as described below-

Assistant Library and Information Officer-

• Applicant should have a Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science from any recognised
  University /Institution with 07 years experience in the relevant field in a University/Research establishment / Central / State Govt. / PSU and Library of other autonomous Institutions. OR
• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Library / Library and Information Science from any recognised Institute/ University with 08 years of experience in the relevant field in a University / Research Establishment / Central / State Govt. / PSU and Library of other autonomous Institutions.

Desirable:

• Candidate should have a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute.

Senior Research Assistant:

• Applicant should have a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences such as Communication, Sociology, Anthropology, or Psychology from a recognized University.
• Candidate should have three years of Research experience in Communication / Social Sciences or allied field in any Central / State Govt./ University/ PSU and other Central or State Autonomous Institutions or in any reputed Private companies/ organization with an annual turnover of at least Rs.200/- Crores or more.

Desirable :

• Candidate should have a Diploma / Certificate / Training in Research Methodology from a recognized University or Institute.
• Candidate should have a Diploma in Mass Communication Journalism from a recognized Institute.
• Candidate should have a Knowledge of Data Processing and Statistics.

Library Clerk

• Applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized Institute/ University.
• Candidate should have a English Typing @ 35 wpm OR Hindi Typing @ 30 wpm(35wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500KDPH/ 9000KDPH on an average of 5 Key depressions for each work)
• Aspirants should have a Certificate in Library Science from a recognized Institute
• Candidate should have a Proficiency in Computer Operations.

Selection Process for IIMC Recruitment 2024:
