LS & Co is hiring an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst at their Bengaluru, India location.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Performs quality control audits of cash variance reports, journal entries and reconciliations and communicates results to business partners effectively
• Prepares and/or reviews monthly reconciliations and journal entries for general ledger accounts, as well as, ad hoc reports/ schedules
• Completes bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly close activities timely
• Leads projects and responds to data requests
• Collaborates with team and various business partners across the globe
• Acts as a key subject matter expert (SME) for assigned areas and implements process efficiencies wherever possible
• Assists with internal and external audit requirements; supports statutory reporting requests as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• CA/ICWA with 3-5 years’ Experience or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5-8 years’ experience . CPA a plus
• Minimum 5 years of business experience in Accounting or Finance field
• Customer service mindset required, including the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with professionalism and diplomacy
• Ability and desire to communicate effectively with business partners at all levels
• Must possess a team first mentality, including flexibility in regard to job responsibilities in order to achieve team deliverables
• Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, etc.)
• Experience with SAP (or other large ERP system) is a strong plus

• We’re looking to add a Sr. Financial Analyst who will report to the Sr. Director, Corporate Finance.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of quarterly forecasts and monthly close reconciliation-reporting
• Manage journal entry preparation and ensure compliance with US GAAP
• Create, track and manage purchase orders
• Review and reconcile invoices to ensure alignment with contractual obligations
• Support monthly reporting, account reconciliations and where needed ad hoc requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience
• CPA and or MBA a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Access
• Excellent knowledge of accounting procedures & principles and GAAP requirements
• Keen analytical skills to identify inventory issues, propose potential solutions, and perform trend analysis.
• Capability to build relationships and collaborate internally and externally.
