CUET Result 2024: 2.34 Lakh Students Did not Show up for the Exam; General Category had Highest Absentee Rate
CUET Result 2024: The Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET UG) 2024 results were released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) yesterday, 28th July. 13,47,820 individuals in total registered to take the CUET 2024 test. Around 1,113,610 people showed up for the examination, according to the attendance record. On the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG, candidates who took the CUET 2024 exam can see and obtain their results.
On May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 at various centers in 379 cities, including 26 overseas sites, the NTA conducted the hybrid version of the CUET UG 2024. On 19th July there was a second exam for CUET 2024. The objection window is open until 9th July and the preliminary answer key was issued on 7th July.
In all, 1,113,610 registered applicants took the CUET 2024 exam out of 1,347,820 total. For the CUET 2024 exam, 519,283 of the 630,565 female registrations actually showed up. That being said, 594,324 of the 717,248 males who enrolled for CUET 2024 actually took the test. Third gender candidates also showed up for the CUET 2024 exam, out of the seven who registered.
The General category had the most absentees, while the EWS group had the fewest, according to the CUET 2024 result figures. 2,34,210 individuals were absent from the 1,347,820 candidates who registered for the CUET 2024 exam. With 543,996 registrations, the General (Unreserved) category had the most candidates; 448,908 of them showed up, and 95,088 of them were absent.
The next group, Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL), had 482,552 registered candidates; 399,945 of them showed up, while 82,607 did not show up. There were 144,851 registrations for the Scheduled Caste (SC) category; 119,164 of them showed up for the CUET 2024 exam, while 25,687 of them did not. 88,097 people registered under the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category; 70,613 of them showed up, while 17,484 did not.
