JEE Mains 2025 Registrations: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a new advisory for Aadhaar Card verification for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 registrations. The NTA has received some sets of reports from candidates facing technical problems while performing the registration process due to the differences between their names written on the aadhaar card and their class 10th education certificates. Hence, NTA has introduced some significant changes to the online JEE Mains 2025 Registration Process and has provided detailed steps to resolve their problems.

The JEE Mains 2025 Registrations began on October 28, 2024, and will close on November 22, 2024, by 9 PM. Registering for JEE Mains 2025 session one, candidates will be required to complete the Aadhaar verification by providing their name as mentioned on the Aadhaar Card.

JEE Mains 2025: How to Resolve Aadhaar Card Verification Issues

To help candidates resolve the Aadhaar Card Verification issue, NTA has issued the complete JEE Mains 2025 online registration process.

It is recommended that candidates ignore any pop-up notifications regarding name mismatches that appear during Aadhaar verification.
The message release states, “Name mismatch during Aadhaar Authentication. To update your Name on your Aadhaar Card, please visit your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. To proceed with Aadhaar Authentication, please enter your name as given in Aadhaar.”
After the pop-up notification is closed, a new window will be displayed on the screens for Aadhaar Card Verification. In this window, candidates are required to enter their correct name written on the Aadhaar card. To continue the JEE Mains 2025 Registrations, the authority will keep the record of the candidate’s name written on both the educational certificate and Aadhaar card.

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Mains i.e., jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link reading, “Online Application Form for JEE (Main) – 2025 Session-1”.
Step 3: Then click on the link, “Link to the Online Registration Form for the JEE (Main) – 2025 Session-1”.
Step 4: Click on the“New Registration” tab.
Step 5: Fill in all the required details asked in the registration form.
Step 6: Upload all the necessary documents.
Step 7: Check all the filled details once and Submit the form.
Step 8: Download the confirmation page, and keep a hardcopy of the same for future reference.
