British Council is hiring eligible and interested applicants for the post of Consultant – Background Screening at their Noida, India location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The screening consultant role will require the execution of the screening and Re-screening of the TCS-sanctioned countries which would require coordination with the Screening partner and internal stakeholders as well.
• Oversee the delivery of screening TCS Sanctioned countries, based on the agreed SLA and compliance standards for the British Council for the work.
• Work proactively with regional teams to resolve issues; judge when further escalation on the work done for the TCS Sanctioned countries to stakeholders is needed, support the regions in the escalation process as necessary.
• Act as an escalation point when challenges arise because of implementing any new processes, including new compliance requirements.
  Closely work with the Background Screening Lead to ensure efficient screening solutions are designed and implemented for the TCS Sanctioned countries.
• The individual would be expected to work along with the Background Screening Lead to design and execute new global screening strategies so as to improve the overall screening process.
• Would be responsible for effectively managing and implementing/solutions to feedback/ complaints in the process and ensuring that corrective actions are taken by the screening team to avoid any future occurrences.
• Responsible for ensuring all process & and service-related compliances are adhered to in the screening process.
• The individual, along with the Background screening lead would be responsible for engaging with stakeholders for the effective delivery of Background Screening for the TCS Sanctioned Countries.
• Conducting periodic meetings for updates from the Screening team as well as regular updates with the screening partner
  Role-Specific Knowledge and Experience:

Qualification: Graduate

Minimum/Essential:

• Experience working with different segments of operations in the Background screening industry.
• Ability to plan well and prioritize work as well as work as an individual contributor.
• Proactive approach with a focus on problem analysis & resolution
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of internal and external contacts verbally and in writing.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Advanced Excel)

Desirable:

• Working Knowledge of procuring verifications for different elements of screening
• Understanding of Success factors
