High Court of Bombay Recruitment 2024: The High Court of Bombay is inviting eligible candidates to fill the post of Chief Editor, Editor, Deputy Editor, and Assistant Editor. Based on the official notification of the High Court of Bombay Recruitment 2024, there are 13 openings to be filled for the given posts. The chosen candidates will be paid between Rs.60000 to Rs.150000 as per post. The appointment is made on a contract basis for a period of 01 year (12 months) and it may be extended.

According to the official notification of the High Court of Bombay Recruitment 2024, The test/interview will be used to select the candidates. Qualification and Experience for High Court of Bombay Recruitment 2024:

The candidates must have the required qualifications and experience as stated below in the article for applying to the High Court of Bombay Recruitment 2024.

For Chief Editor-

  • The applicant must be a Retired District Judge, preferably a Super-time/ Selection Scale/ Retired Secretary (Legislation). OR
  • The applicant must hold a degree in Law from a recognised University and must be a practising Advocate in the High Court of Bombay or Courts subordinate thereto for not less than TEN years on the date of publication of the advertisement and while computing the period for practising as an Advocate, the period during which he/she has held the post of Public Prosecutor or Government Advocate or Judicial Officer shall be included. And
  • The applicant must be an Academician having experience of active teaching in law colleges for not less than TEN years.

For Editor (Marathi)-

  • The applicant must be a Retired District Judge/ Retired Secretary (Legislation)/ retired Principal/Professor of Law Colleges/ retired Officer of Law Commission in the pay scale equivalent to the Super-time scale/ State Legal Advisor, who has retired within the past 5 years on superannuation only and having no post-retirement assignment. The Officers /Principal/Professors, who have taken voluntary retirement and those who are compulsorily retired/ discharged from service in probation/ review premature retired or dismissed shall not be considered. OR
  • The applicant must hold a degree in Law from a recognised University and must be a practising Advocate in the High Court of Bombay or Courts subordinate thereto for not less than seven years on the date of publication of the advertisement and while computing the period for practising as an Advocate, the period during which he/she has held the post of Public Prosecutor or Government Advocate or Judicial Officer shall be included. OR
  • The applicant must hold a degree in Law and who is working or who has worked as a Public Prosecutor or Government Advocate for not less than seven years in the post.

For Editor (English)-

  • The applicant must be a Retired District Judge/ Retired Secretary (Legislation)/retired Principal/Professor of Law Colleges/ retired Officer of Law Commission in the pay scale equivalent to the Super time scale/ State Legal Advisor, who has retired within the past 5 years on superannuation only and having no post-retirement assignment. OR
  • The applicant holds a degree in Law from a recognised University and must be a practising Advocate in the High Court of Bombay or Courts subordinate thereto for not less than five years on the date of publication of the advertisement and while computing the period for practising as an Advocate, the period during which he/she has held the post of Public Prosecutor or Government Advocate or Judicial Officer shall be included. OR
  • The applicant must hold a degree in Law and who is working or who has worked as a Public Prosecutor or Government Advocate for not less than five years in the post.
