As mentioned in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024, there are 406 vacant seats available for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 155th Course and for the 117th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 1st January 2026.

Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are interested in applying to UPSC Recruitment 2024 should be unmarried male/female and born not earlier than 2nd July 2006 and not later than 01st July 2009.

For Army Wing of the  National Defence Academy-

• The candidate should be a 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
• Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy-

• The candidate should have a 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
• Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Selection Process for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024, the candidates will be selected on the basis of an examination followed by an SSB test/ interview. The candidates who qualify the examination will be called for the interview. The examination will be held on 13.04.2025. The examination will be held at the various centres all over India. The exam details are shown below in the table-

Application Fee for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

The candidates have to pay Rs.100 to complete the application process for UPSC Recruitment 2024. The SC/ST candidates/female candidates / Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs specified who are exempted from the payment of the application fee. The candidates can submit the application fee in any Branch of the State Bank of India by cash, by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment, or by using the internet banking of any Bank.

Applicants who choose for “Pay by Cash” mode, should print the system-generated Pay-in-slip during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of the SBI Branch on the next working day only. The “Pay by Cash” mode option will be deactivated at 11:59 PM of 30.12.2024 i.e. one day before the closing date.
