• The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC, and ST candidates by 5 years and for OBC candidates by 3 years. Tenure for BEL Recruitment 2025:

The tenure and remuneration according to the posts is listed below in line with the official notification of BEL Recruitment 2025 –

Project Engineer-I –

• The selected candidates will be engaged for an initial period of 3 years, which may be extended up to maximum of ONE YEAR (Maximum tenure of 4 years) based on project requirement and individual performance

Trainee Engineer-I/ Officer-I –

• The candidates will be engaged for an initial period of 2 years, which may be extended up to maximum of ONE YEAR (Maximum tenure of 3 years) based on project requirement and individual performance.

Selection Procedure for BEL Recruitment 2025:

The committee will conduct an Interview and Written Test to determine the eligibility of the candidates as mentioned in the official notification of BEL Recruitment 2025.

The venue for the Written Test and Interview will be in Chennai.

Salary For BEL Recruitment 2025:

Project Engineer-I:

Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs.40,000 per month for 1st year, Rs.45,000 per month for 2nd year, Rs.50,000 per month for 3rd year, and in the event of an extension of the contract Rs.55,000 per month for the 4th year.

Trainee Engineer-I/ Officer-I :

Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs.30,000 per month for 1st year, Rs.35,000/- per month for 2nd year and in the event of an extension of the contract Rs.40,000/- per month for the 3rd year.

In addition to the remuneration indicated above, a consolidated amount of Rs.12,000
per year will be paid towards expenses like insurance premiums, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. The additional amount shall be paid in two installments. The first installment will be processed in the first month‟s salary after joining and the second installment will be paid on completion of 6 months from the date of joining.

Retention Bonus for Project Engineers: Project Engineers who join as Project
Engineer-I and complete overall tenure of 4 years will be entitled to a Retention Bonus of
Rs. 25,000 for every completed year. However, the retention bonus will be payable at
the end of 4 years i.e., Rs. 1,00,000.

Retention Bonus will also be extended to Project Engineers / Officers who have
advanced from the Trainee Engineer role provided they complete an overall tenure of 4 years
in the Project Engineer/Officer role. However, the retention bonus will be calculated for the
tenure in the Project Engineer role.

Application Fee for BEL Recruitment 2025:

The candidates need to pay an application fee as listed below according to the posts in order to be eligible for BEL Recruitment 2025 –

Project Engineer-I –

• General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs.472 (Application fee-Rs.400 plus 18% GST).

Trainee Engineer-I/ Officer-I –

• General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs.177 (Application fee-Rs.150 plus 18% GST).
