CUET UG 2025 Accountancy Re-test: NTA Extended Last Date for Consent, Know Important Details

CUET UG 2025 Accountancy Re-test: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a new update for candidates who appeared for accountancy exam of CUET UG 2025 that was conducted between May 13 and May 16, 2025. NTA has extended the last to date to apply for the accountancy re-test.

Earlier, the last date to submit the consent to appear for the re-test was May 23, 2025 (1:00 PM). However, the last date has now been extended till May 24, 2025 (1:00 PM), that gives the candidates more time to think and make their decision. Those candidates who are interested in appearing for the re-test must submit their consent latest by May 24, 2025 (1:00 PM) via visiting the official website of NTA.

As per the notice released on May 23 2025, the eligible candidates who appeared for the accountancy exam have been given a option to either retain their existing score or opt to reappear for the exam with a new revised question paper pattern.

The revised pattern includes choice in the accountancy exam that allows candidates to answer the given questions from either Unit:V which is Computerised Accounting Systems or an optional unit. Earlier, Unit:V was compulsory which was a disadvantage for the candidates who are not so good at computerised accounting.

Important:

• If a candidate fails to respond a yes/no by the mentioned deadline, the marks obtained in the previous test will be considered as final.
• Candidates who apply for the re-test but doesn’t appear for the exam will be marked as “absent” and no marks will be given for the subject.
• Also, NTA will inform all the candidates about the date, time ad venue of the re-test in advance on its official website.
