NBEMS increases monthly Stipend of Trainees by Rs 8000

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a notice regarding the revised Stipend for NBEMS trainees for various courses, including DNB, DrNB, Diploma, and FNB. The new minimum stipend is effective from June 1, 2025.

Minimum Stipend

Here is the revised minimum stipend prescribed by NBEMS that must be paid to NBEMS trainees.

Private and State Government Hospitals must pay whichever is higher between the revised NBEMS stipend or the State Government’s stipend policy. Similarly, Railway, ESIC, Central PSUs, Central Autonomous and Central Government Institutions must also pay the higher of the NBEMS revised amount of stipend or the central policy-specific stipends.
