NEET PG 2025: NBE Moves to Supreme Court Seeking Permission To Conduct Exam On August 3 The Supreme Court has received an application from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) requesting authorization to administer the NEET PG 2025 exam on August 3. Concerns regarding the exam being administered in two shifts prompted the Supreme Court to step in, although the initial date was set for June 15. NBEMS has delayed the examination in accordance with the directive.
Breaking: NEET PG Exam 2025 postponed, What is Revised Schedule
The Court noted that administering the test in two different sessions would be capricious and would result in varying degrees of difficulty. Consequently, the Court ordered NBEMS to arrange for the exam to be administered nationwide in a single shift. It also gave NBEMS the opportunity to ask for more time if necessary to put these modifications into effect. The United Doctors Front petitioned for the intervention, arguing that the exam should be administered in a single session across the country. In a notice, the Supreme Court requested a response from NBEMS. NBEMS has now suggested holding NEET PG 2025 on August 3 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm in accordance with the regulation. But this will necessitate significant logistical adjustments. Since more than 2.42 lakh candidates are anticipated to sit for the test, NBEMS will need to set up more than 1,000 testing locations in more than 250 cities and assign close to 60,000 employees, including security guards and invigilators. Among the main difficulties are making sure there is adequate infrastructure, avoiding malpractice, and working with educational institutions. We await the Supreme Court's final ruling. For updates on the exam schedule and further instructions, applicants are encouraged to often visit the official NBEMS website in the meantime.
