AAI Recruitment 2022: The Airports Authority of India(AAI) has invited online applications from the candidates who are domicile of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Sikkim for the post of Junior Assistant (Fire Service) NE-4 level, Senior Assistant (Electronics) and Senior Assistant (Accounts) NE-6 level, at various AAI airports and other AAI Establishments in the above States/UT in Eastern Region. There are total 47 vacancies for mentioned post. Interested and eligible candidates shall apply online only through Airports Authority of India Website i.e., [https://www.aai.aero/en/careers/recruitment] for the above post.

Candidates should possess the requisite qualifications & relevant experiences (where required) for on-line registration of application. Eligibility Criteria for AAI Recruitment 2022

Senior Assistant (Electronics)

a) Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication//Radio Engineering from a Recognized/Deemed Board/University recognized by Govt. of India.

b) Two (02) years relevant experience in the concerned discipline.

Senior Assistant (Accounts)

a) Graduate preferably B. Com with computer training course of 3 to 6 months.

b) Two (02) years’ relevant experience in the concerned discipline.

Junior Assistant (Fire Service)

a) 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire with minimum 50 % marks from a Recognized/ Deemed Board/ University recognized by Govt. of India.

(OR)

b) 12th Pass (Regular Study) with 50 % marks.

Driving License

a) Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License;

OR

b) Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before the date of advertisement i.e. 30.09.2022.

OR

c) Valid Light Motor Vehicle License issued at least two years before the date of advertisement i.e. 30.09.2022.

Desirable Qualification & Experience

Due weightage shall be given to a candidate possessing any one or more (subject to maximum limit of the following)

a) Computer Science as subject at 12th class level;

b) NCC “B” Certificate;

c) Relevant experience in an aviation/regular/industrial fire service.

d) Basic Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment;

e) Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.

Age Limit for AAI Recruitment 2022

18 to 30 years as on 30/09/2022.

a. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates as on 30/09/2022.

b. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules for Ex-Servicemen should not exceed prescribed age limit by more than 3 years. Calculation of age shall be as per the category for which the application has been made.

c. Upper age limits are relaxable by 10 years for departmental candidates who are in regular service of AAI.

d. Maximum age limit for widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried shall be relaxed up to the age of 35 years (up to 40 years for members of SC/ST and 38 years for OBC).

e. The date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificates will only be accepted. No subsequent requests for change in date of birth will be entertained at a later stage.

Selection Procedure for AAI Recruitment 2022

Written Examination – Computer Based (Online):

The level for written examination for the post of Jr. Assistant (Fire Service) will be as under:

1. 50 Questions on Subjects relating to Educational Qualification for prescribed Post.

2. 50 Questions on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, English etc.

The level for written examination for the post of Sr. Assistant (Electronics) and Sr. Assistant (Accounts) will be as under: –

1. 70 Questions on Subjects relating to Educational Qualification for prescribed Post.

2. 30 Questions on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, English etc.

The minimum pass marks will be 50 out of 100 for General/OBC/EWS/Ex-Serviceman/dependent of Ex-Serviceman killed in action candidates and 40 out of 100 for SC, ST candidates. The time duration for Computer Based (Online) Test will be 2 Hrs. No negative marking for incorrect answers.

Application Fee for AAI Recruitment 2022

1. Candidates belonging to General and OBC Category have to pay Rs.1000/- only as application fees.(*Excluding of Bank Charges and Service Tax)

2. No application fee is required to be paid by Female/ SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Serviceman/ Dependent of Ex-Serviceman killed in action/ EWS candidates/ apprentices completing 1 year of apprenticeship training in AAI.

3. AAI will accept Application Fee through online net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI only.
