Overview:

ABB is hiring an experienced Sales Support – Contract and Risk Management at their Bangalore location. You will be working as Sales Support – Contract and Risk Management and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Buildings division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Customer Operations Manager and will be responsible for ensuring all Contract Review / Project Risk Management activities are tendered, negotiated, and executed in accordance with the relevant Company procedures and Contract Management framework.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

Formulating competitive bids/estimates/quotations, considering best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation

Reviewing and commenting on contract terms and conditions and annexes to the contract/frame agreement. Supporting bid go/no-go decisions based on risk assessment of contract terms and conditions

Managing the preparation of all technical (e.g., defining the most suitable technology and product type(s)), financial (e.g., total price sheet, cash flow analysis) and if necessary, project management (e.g., quantifies hours of engineering and commissioning) aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions

Collecting and archiving documentation regarding the offer/order and records assumptions and decisions taken during the development process

Identifying potential risks in the bids, quotations, and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels. Providing information and/or participates in the Risk Review process in accordance with ABB policy

In accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, ensures that inputs for editing activities are provided on time and according to established quality procedures



Eligibility:

Tertiary degree qualifications in Engineering (electrical/electronic/mechatronics).

Minimum three (3) years prior experience in Engineering Contracts and Risk Management.

High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel application for data analysis and for representation of data.

Knowledge of SAP platform.



High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Power Point applications.

Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and customers, both verbally and written.
