Abu Dhabi IIT Delhi 2024: 500 Students Participated in an Open House Session to Learn about Fees and Scholarship
Abu Dhabi IIT Delhi 2024: As per the recent updates, round about 500 students with their parents participated in an open house session conducted by the Indian Embassy, Abu Dhabi and IIT Delhi – Abu Dhabi on Saturday with the purpose of clarifying the doubts related to the eligibility, fees, scholarships and more necessary details regarding admission process in the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi) at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). This Session was held by the faculty of IIT Delhi to resolve the queries of the IIT Aspirants about the admission criteria for the Undergraduate (UG) Courses this year. The first batch is going to be initiated in August or September 2024.
This overseas campus of India’s well-recognized technical institute is going to be offered Four Year Programmes in Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering and Energy Engineering. Moreover, on this campus, all the faculty members will be either from IIT-Delhi or Other Top Institutes. Following and huge interest of students towards the cooperation in the open house, a subsequent meeting was booked and saw a staggering reaction from the aspirants. The Process of Applying for Admission Process in IIT Delhi – Abu Dhabi is ongoing and it has been specified that admission will be given via two modes which Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) 2024 and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE – Advanced) 2024 are the two entrance tests through which aspirants can acquire admissions in the IIT Delhi – Abu Dhabi. Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) is a pen and paper-based exam where the answer is marked in an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) Sheet which consists of three question papers of duration of 90 minutes on each subject such as physics, chemistry and mathematics and it’s crucial to appear in all the papers.
Also, The Exam will be conducted on June 23, 2024, in various centres of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). However, the cities will be alloted to the aspirants on their own choice. The Exam on June 23, 2024, will be concluded as per the given schedule: Physics (8:30 am – 10 am), Chemistry ( 11:30 am – 1 pm) and Mathematics (2:30 pm – 4 pm).
The Online registration for this exam will be continued till June 3, 2024, and students can register online by visiting the admission website of the University Also students need to pay Dh300 as a one-time non-refundable fee. Furthermore, The Admit Card will be released online on June 14, 2024, and the entrance exam will be held on June 23, 2024. On July 7, The Result will be announced of CAET 2024.
The IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi campus is set up in the Khalifa City. Every year educational expenses for the four-year course are Dh81,375, and the overall tuition fee is Dh325,000. There is nearby, separate convenience for male and female understudies with single and double occupancy choices for all understudies. The Housing charges are Dh1,000 each month for double occupancy whereas Dh2,000 each month for staying single.
