Ministry of Textiles Recruitment 2025: The Ministry of Textiles is looking for suitable and qualified candidates for the positions of Junior Weaver, Junior Assistant (Weaving), and Attendant (Weaving). There are 05 vacancies open in the Ministry of Textiles Recruitment 2025. The maximum age limit is 35 for the post of Junior Weaver and Junior Assistant (Weaver) and the maximum age limit is 30 years to apply for the post of Attendant (Weaving). The chosen candidates will be appointed on a probation period of 02 years. The place of posting will be initially at any one of Weavers’ Service Centres viz. Chennai, Kancheepuram, Salem, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kannur and IIHT, Salem.
Following the official notification of the Ministry of Textiles Recruitment 2025, the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in Pay Levels 1, 2, and 5 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC (as shown below in the article). The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written and practical test, which will be conducted by a duly constituted Selection Committee. The details of the written test will be informed later to the candidates. As given in the official notification of the Ministry of Textiles Recruitment 2025, candidates may submit the hard copy of the application form in the prescribed format along with the required documents to the address given below on or before the deadline. The official notification of the Ministry of Textiles Recruitment 2025 states that the selected candidates will be engaged on a probation period of 02 years.
The selection of the Ministry of Textiles Recruitment 2025 will be determined on the basis of a written and practical test, which will be conducted by a duly constituted Selection Committee. However, if several applications received for a particular post is large, then the appointing authority reserves the right to lay down any criteria for the purpose of shortlisting the candidates for selection tests.
