The only way to do great work is to love what you do

Steve Jobs.

After years of hard study and passing one of the toughest CA exams, this 26-year-old found their true passion in wellness. Let us know the story of SurbhiGandhi, a girl who turned her dreams into reality.

Back in 2017, Surbhi was sitting in her room preparing for CA exams while being surrounded by CA books. Even though she was preparing for CA exams, Surbhi was still uncertain of what she wanted to become. She had always been attracted to creativity, but being born in a Marwadi Family, where everyone was either a businessman or a CA, she was also supposed to become a CA. While the pressure was hard, she had a dream of living a life on her own terms, free and independent.

Today, at just the age of 26, Surbhi has not just become a Chartered Accountant but also a Yoga Trainer, a social media influencer and the founder of her own brand, Pro-Firo. Her journey was not shaped by luck but by determination and a fear of getting married at a young age. She feared that she might have to live a life she did not want. This fear and stubborn determination fuelled her to chase her own goals.

Surbhi’s discipline was shown when she passed the first level of CA on her first attempt. She even studied 14 hours a day and stayed away from the phone and social media during her intermediate exams. Surbhi cleared the intermediate exams, but the final exam gave her real professional heartbreak when she could not clear it. Despite this, she did not quit, and after sleepless nights and constant pressures, she cleared her CA finals in 2022.

It was during the COVID lockdown that her passion started to emerge, since everyone was becoming more health-conscious during that time. This is where she took the opportunity and started to practise Yoga. She taught herself through YouTube tutorials. Yoga did not just help her mentally and physically, but it also helped her build a network. During her journey, she connected with people who helped her grow. Surbhi explored content creation and started to share her Yoga videos, which helped her gain an audience.

However, this career transition was not easy. Choosing wellness over a stable career was a big risk. Additionally, the shift was the biggest shock for her family. But her determination and her confidence made her parents realise that this was truly what made her feel alive.

Today, Surbhi runs Pro Firo, where she gives personalised Yoga Sessions and wellness workshops. She also mentors the CA aspirants and launched her own podcast, Unstoppable with Surbhi, where she shares her stories to inspire others, especially young girls, to pursue their dreams.

Her Journey proves that with determination and the ability to take risks, one can turn their dreams into reality.
