Worked as SIM Card Seller

CA Siddhant Uday Bhuvankar worked as a SIM Card seller before becoming a CA. Additionally, he also worked in Call Centres and in offices as an office assistant. Bhuvanker says that these jobs made him realise the worth of every single rupee he earned with these jobs. Siddharth never imagined becoming a CA.

Starting CA at 23

While most students start preparing for CA right after school, Siddhant began at the age of 23. Many students will think that it is too late to start the journey of CA. However, it is never too late. He knew what he wanted and worked towards it with full focus and dedication. The journey of pursuing CA was not easy. There were days when he used to self-doubt, but he did not give up. He studied with sincerity and consistency for five years.

Used Failure as Motivation

Success does not come easily; it tests your patience and hard work. Even after this hard preparation, Siddhant could not clear the CA Exams in November 2024. It was not easy for him to watch himself failing even after working hard. He used this failure as a motivation and came back stronger with double determination.

Finally, his hard work paid off after he appeared again in the CA Final in May 2025 and cleared the CA Final in both groups with 323 marks. Siddhant also gave credit to his elder brother for always being there for him. “But if there is one person who stood like a rock throughout this journey, it’s my elder brother-my Dada. He is my guiding light, my motivator, and the strongest pillar of my life. He believed in me,” he wrote in the post made on Instagram.

From working as a SIM card seller to becoming a Chartered Accountant, his story shows us that with hard work, belief, and support, anything is possible. His story is a great motivation for all CA students to keep going and never give up on their dream of becoming a CA.
