Age Limit for AIIA Recruitment 2024:

The official notification of AIIA Recruitment 2024 states that the age limitations are listed below as per the recruitment method:

• The maximum age limit for the candidates applying on a deputation basis should not be more than the age of 58 years.
• The maximum age limit for the candidates applying on a direct recruitment basis should not be more than 55 years.

Qualification Required for AIIA Recruitment 2024:

The candidates need to fulfil the mentioned below educational qualification requirements as per the official notification of AIIA Recruitment 2024:

Professor (Kayachikitsa/ Shalya/ PTSR/ Translational Research) –

• The candidates should be an Officer from any Central/ State Government/ Autonomous Institutions/ PSU:
• Holding analogous posts.
  OR
• Four years of regular service as an Additional Professor in the concerned subject.
  OR
• Eight years of regular service as an Associate Professor in the concerned subject.

1. The candidates should have a Degree in Ayurveda recognized.
2. The candidates should have an MD/ MS (Ay.) recognized by CCIM/ NCISM.
3. The applicants should have a PhD in the concerned subject.
4. The applicants should have 14 years of full-time Post Graduate teaching experience in the concerned subject and/ or Research experience in recognized Institutions/ Research councils after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/ MS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Professor (Pharmacology) –

• The candidates should have a medical qualification included in Schedule I and II or Part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956/ NMC Act 2019 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-Il of the third Scheduled should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act) and postgraduate qualification i.e. M.D. in Pharmacology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the discipline/subject.
• Master’s Degree in Pharmacology/ Drug Assay/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ M.Pharma (Ay)/ MSc (Medicinal Plants) with specialization in Pharmacology from a recognized University/ Institute.
• The candidates should have 14 years of full-time postgraduate teaching experience in the concerned subject and/ or Research experience in recognized Institutions/ Research councils after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/ MS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• The applicants must have a PhD in the concerned subject.

Additional Professor (Roga Nidan and Vikriti Vigyan/ Panchakarma):

• The candidates should have a Degree in Ayurveda recognized under schedule II of the CCIM Act 1970/ NCISM Act 2020.
• The applicants must have an MD/ MS (Ay.) recognized by CCIM/ NCISM under Schedule-II of CCIM Act, 1970/ NCISM Act 2020 in the concerned subject.

Associate Professor:

• The candidates should have a Degree in Ayurveda recognized under Schedule II of the CCIM Act, 1970 / NCISM 2020.
• MD/MS (Ay.) recognized by CCIM/NCISM under Schedule-Il of CCIM Act, 1970 / NCISM Act 2020 in the concerned subject.
• The candidates should have 06 years of full-time postgraduate teaching experience in the concerned subject and/or Research experience in recognized Institutions / Research councils after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Salary for AIIA Recruitment 2024:

The candidates selected for the post of Additional Professor and Associate Professor will receive a monthly income in the Pay Level-13 A1 and the candidates selected for the post of Professor will receive a monthly income in the Pay Level-14A as per the official notification of AIIA Recruitment 2024.

Tenure for AIIA Recruitment 2024:

The tenure for AIIA Recruitment 2024 will be on a deputation/direct recruitment basis. The selected candidates will be appointed for an appropriate period of 02 years, which may be extended further based on mutual consent.

Selection Procedure for AIIA Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are eligible and applicable for AIIA Recruitment 2024 will be determined on the basis of Document Verification and Written Examinations organized by the committee.

Application Fee for AIIA Recruitment 2024:

The candidates applying for AIIA Recruitment 2024 need to pay an application fee as per the categories:

• Rs.2000 for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates
• Rs.1000 for SC/ ST candidates
• No Application Fee is applicable for Persons with Disabilities/ Physically Handicapped candidates and candidates applying for Deputation posts.
• Application Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
