• The candidate should possess M.Sc. Degree in the subject concerned. And
• The candidate should possess Ph.D. in the subject concerned/allied subject from a recognized University/Institute.

For Cardiology-

• The candidate should have a postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Medicine/Paediatrics OR DM/DNB (Cardiology) from a recognized university/Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto.

For Dermatology-

• The candidate should have a Postgraduate Medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Dermatology from a recognized university/Institute /or equivalent qualification thereto.
