Really heartbreaking and shocking news has emerged where a young chartered accountant (CA) aged 33 years has committed suicide by inhaling helium gas in Telangana's Siddipet district.

He had secured All India Rank (AIR) in his CA final examination and shifted to the United States (US) for work purposes. According to the police, the man had purchased a helium gas cylinder along with required equipment from Balanagar in Hyderabad. He ended his life by inhaling helium gas using a mask. This whole incident took place on August 01, 2026, in a hotel room in Siddipet.

During the investigation, police found through his mobile phone that he had done deep research on how to use helium gas for suicide by watching videos on YouTube. Police had entered the crime location by breaking the window; they found him lying dead on the floor.

He was addicted to online gambling, and the action he had taken followed a prolonged struggle and financial losses from gambling. He could never overcome his addiction to online gaming despite having continuous support from his family members and friends. Always, he was always a sharp-minded person and had an exciting career ahead.

This is high time when everyone should understand how such a serious addiction can destroy someone's life completely. Addiction is good, but there should always be a limit to it.

A user named Rohit Jain has shared this distressing news on the platform 'X,' where he stated that the CA who has committed suicide had completed his articleship with him only.

Rohit wrote that "Heartbreaking news.

A young Chartered Accountant who did his articleship with me, secured an All India Rank in the CA Final, and later moved to the US for work, has tragically died by suicide after a prolonged struggle with online gambling addiction.

Despite repeated support from his family and friends, he couldn't overcome his addiction. He had a brilliant mind, a bright future.

This is a painful reminder that addiction can affect anyone. If you or someone you know is struggling, please seek help. Financial losses can be recovered. A life cannot.

Om Shanti."
