The official Bharatkosh Portal (Non-Tax Receipt Portal), also known as the Non-Tax Receipt Portal (NTRP), is scheduled to undergo technical upgradation from August 7, 2026, to September 28, 2026. During this maintenance period, online payment and receipt generation services for non-tax dues to the Government of India may suffer disruptions or temporary unavailability.

The services that may be affected during this period include online deposit of fees, fines, and non-tax revenues across civil ministries and government departments.

The Bharatkosh Portal is an online platform developed by the Ministry of Finance under the Government of India. It lets citizens, businesses, and organisations pay non-tax fees, fines, service charges, and donations directly to central government ministries and departments safely and easily.

  • Paying Fines and Penalties: Clear official dues, penalties, or legal fees owed to government bodies.

  • Making Donations: Contribute safely to special national funds like the Swachh Bharat Kosh.

  • Tracking Payments: Check payment history, verify transaction status, and download digital receipts.

A user on platform 'X' has also discussed this upgradation. He has shared a post writing, " Bharatkosh is undergoing technical upgradation activities from 7th August 2026 to 28th September 2026.

That is peak AGM, CFSS and Annual filing season for us. Hopefully #MCA has planned a viable alternative, else it will be chaos all over again.
