Roles and Responsibilities:

• Learn and use ground breaking technologies.
• Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to our customers’ individual needs.
• Interact with leading engineers around the world.
• Partner with AWS teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues.
• Leverage your extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services.
• Drive customer communication during critical events.
• Drive projects that improve support-related processes and our customers’ technical support experience.
• Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community.
• Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS servic

Basic Qualification-

• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience in a technical position; Requires minimum of 7+ years of experience in a technical position.
• Proficiency in Systems Administration and Troubleshooting in Windows Server Operating System; Good Understanding and troubleshooting knowledge on Active Directory and Domain Controller
• Good understanding of Networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Routing and Name Resolution, Firewall, VPN and protocols
• Experience in troubleshooting filesystem and scripting (i.e. Bash, Python, PowerShell etc.), REST API based services.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken) within technical and business settings.

Preferred Qualification-

• Expertise with troubleshooting OS issues including instance down, RDP/SSH issues, Patch management, IIS, Windows Update components, Windows backup component, MS SQL Cluster setup.
• Proficiency with IPsec, VPN, Load Balancing, Iperf, MTR, Routing Protocols, SSH, DNS, Network Monitoring / Troubleshooting tool.
• Expertise with troubleshooting Active Directory, File systems, Domain controller, Remote Desktop instances.
• Programming / scripting experience (Powershell, Bash, Java, Perl, Ruby, Python).
• Good understanding of the networking OSI model.
