Anant Ambani Launches Artisanal Ice Cream Business
Anant Ambani's Vantara, which was known for its wildlife rescue and rehabilitation initiatives, has now entered a completely new and different business of making artisanal ice cream. It was launched in Mumbai and has 17 different artisanal flavors.
The new brand is named Vantara Creamery and was launched at Jio World Drive through a specially designed ice cream truck in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The brand activation took place on May 9 and 10, with additional appearances scheduled for May 16 and 17.
Some popular news channels reported that the brand has flavors such as Filter Coffee, Guava Chili, Malai Kulfi, Kesar Peda, and Lemon Sorbet introduced during the Mumbai launch.
The reports also mentioned that all the flavors of this new brand lean more towards nostalgic and familiar Indian taste profiles rather than only international dessert-style combinations.
The ice creams are made using A2 Gir cow milk and are focused on curated flavors and premium ice cream experiences. As per the sources, Vantara Creamery ice creams are likely to be an expensive treat, at a price of about Rs 750 per scoop.
